Weather wasn't great in my part of the world today. Started out with cold and freezing rain. Currently 35F/2C. Going to be 32F/0C tonight.
But the local was warm. The pint, perfectly pulled. The food, delicious. The musicians, harmonious. The crew, great as always. And of course, the company was fantastic.
Regardless of your seat in this hand basket, hope you get to have as pleasant an evening wherever you are.

Was planning to grab a breakfast sandwich on my way to the makerspace when it occurred to me one of my locals does a Full Irish breakfast. Now I'm sitting at he bar with a perfectly poured pint awaiting breakfast. Maybe I'll stay for the live music at noon.

I feel like things are mildly back on track in my part of the world. Yes, we're still in a hand basket to an unconfirmed destination. And yes, it's still sub-freezing outside. But the local was warm. The beef stew was delicious. The Guinness, perfectly poured. The staff, rocked as usual. And the company was fantastic, as always.

Serious amount of rain today and it's quite cold in my part of the world. If it weren't for global climate change I expect this would be a heavy snowstorm.
But it's warm at one of my locals. The crew is fantastic the food tasty and the company wonderful. I'm fortunate to live where I do and to be surrounded by good people.

The weather's been dreary the past couple of days in my part of the world. Lots of rain and chilly. (60F/15C - 50F//10C) Was still chill this evening but the rain let up. Good night to get out to one of my locals for a Guinness and a burger. Fantastic staff, as usual, and a wonderful, warm atmosphere. They're even ready for Halloween.
