I am a changing bag (and a few measuring jugs etc.) away from being able to load, develop and scan my film at home! Some of these items came into, and went out of, stock on the same day.
I developed and scanned two rolls, so I'll share some frames and thoughts... I'm amazed (again) at the sense of depth, and range of mid-tones, HP5+ has. There's an intangible dimensionality digital lacks. I regret rationalising away how much I love this look. Ilfotec DD-X develops surprisingly fine grain, so I'd also like to try HC if I can find it. Running your fingers down the length of the film before drying does NOT remove enough excess water... you need squeegee tongs!
