Just finished Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone.

This book was so good! Can tell I really enjoyed it because I read it faster than anything else in recent memory. I have a pretty strong habit of only reading each day until the first major break in the action, but there were multiple days throughout when I just couldn't bring myself to stop where I usually would.

I absolutely loved how this book treated the traditionally "evil" art of necromancy as just like any other professional skill, drawing very blatant comparisons with practicing law, in fact. It even read a bit like software engineering, at times.

I loved every one of the major characters, even the main villain of this story, and the world building was really fantastic and didn't feel heavy-handed.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for further books in this series and I'm sure I'll check out others by this author outside the series, too.
