Our impact starts with people. Behind every Carpentries workshop is a community of Instructor Trainers, Instructors, Maintainers, and many other contributors working together to build data and computational skills worldwide. 🌍

Instructor Trainers prepare new Instructors in evidence-based teaching practices. Those Instructors then teach workshops that reach hundreds of learners. That’s the multiplier effect at the heart of The Carpentries.
