Gli ascolti del giovedì televisivo vedono, su Rai1, la fiction Qualcosa di Lilla segnare una media di 1.934.000 spettatori pari all'11.9% di share. Su Canale5 Stanno Tutti Invitati con Pio e Amedeo conquista la serata con 2.620.000 spettatori e uno share del 20%. Su Italia1 il film Lucy intrattiene 951.000 spettatori con il 5.3%. Su Rai3 Splendida Cornice condotto da Gepi Cucciari ottiene 1.140.000 spettatori (7.6%). Su Tv8 il film Attacco al potere – Olympus Has Fallen diverte 315.000 spettatori (1.9%). Sul Nove Cash or Trash – La Notte dei Tesori con Paolo Conticini registra 420.000 spettatori con il 2.5%.

„Die Unsichtbarkeit machte uns lange Zeit sprachlos. Unsere Sprachlosigkeit ließ die anderen glauben, wir hätten ein gutes Leben als Vorzeigeminderheit. Sie ließ uns auch glauben, dass wir kein Anrecht auf unsere Sprache hätten. Dabei wurde uns jahrzehntelang so viel genommen und wir gaben uns damit zufrieden, hier überhaupt existieren zu dürfen, auch wenn wir mit ‚Ausländer raus!‘ immer mitgemeint waren.“ In diesem persönlichen Buch verhandelt Aktivistin und Autorin Hami Nguyen die Themen Rassismus und Klasse am Beispiel ihrer eigenen Lebensgeschichte. Anti-asiatischer Rassismus ist im deutschen Diskurs unterrepräsentiert, weil asiatisch gelesene Menschen als ‚angepasst‘ gelten. Sie sind unsichtbar. Die Geschichten der vietnamesischen Migrant*innen in Deutschland sind kaum erzählt – dabei sind sie ein Teil der deutschen Geschichte.

Mal zum Lachen, mal zum Nachdenken. Aber immer direkt und live geben die Auftretenden in und um die Kunstinstallation THE CAGE beim Poetry Slam ihr Bestes, um am Ende des Abends den Sieg mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Im Rahmen der Internationalen Wochen gegen Rassismus kreisen die Texte dabei um Freiheit und Begrenzung, um Rassismus, Ausgrenzung und die sichtbaren wie unsichtbaren Käfige unserer Zeit.

Sieben Minuten haben sie Zeit, ihre selbst verfassten Texte vorzutragen: ohne Verkleidung, ohne Requisite, nur das gesprochene Wort zählt. Vielleicht ist es diese Ehrlichkeit, die den Reiz ausmacht, oder die Vielfalt der Darbietungen – Wut und Hoffnung, Ironie und Haltung liegen an diesem Abend nah beieinander.

Poetry Slam-Master und Moderator Marius Loy lädt renommierte Slammer*innen ein – man darf gespannt sein, wer das Publikum am meisten begeistern und bewegen wird.
