Reading through #TheBookOfGaub's bestiary, I was struck by how none of its monsters derive horror by directly attacking hit points - they all go after the PCs in weird and lasting ways instead.
A unlucky encounter with these beasts will leave a PC scarred, emotionally traumatised, dead, or much much worse.
With this in mind, I must conclude that the #RustMonster is the scariest of the classic monsters!
