A hallucinatory revival blend of drone rock and pessimistic 1960s themes — monotonous yet flowing and warm, with an anti-war twist for the then-ongoing Iraq War.

“‘Let’s blindly follow this leader into battle without question.’ That’s the one golden thread throughout the entire record. And then we’ll figure out the real reason why we’re in the war and be like, ‘Oh…dang.’”
