Back on #twitter I had some "piss off Trumpists" accounts. One was called "1930s Reich Family" (the display name was Magda und Detlev). It posted fashy, effusive praise for the worst things Trump and his cronies said and did, in terms that only a true #Nazi #bootlicker would use. I didn't have any followers, but it made me feel a little better.

I was thinking of renewing Magda und Detlev on #mastodon but, the more I think about it, it wouldn't work because

a. That kind of edgy satire might be perceived as actual #fascist content by many people

b. The situation has changed. There's no more consciousness to be raised. Needling posts like 1930sReichFamily's, implying that Trump & co. are actual Nazis would seem glaringly obvious to anyone not in the Trump misinfo bubble and would probably seem like mere statements of support to those wallowing in it.
