@drahardja I always thought the female voice computers of 70s films like #LogansRun, #TheAndromedaStrain, and #DarkStar sounded *more* menacing because they were so calm and efficient. Nothing as eerie as a voice helpfully telling you you're about to die.
Also, I thought female voices were used because the higher pitch cuts through noise better than male voices. (I believe I read that in The Making of #StarTrek).
