...on the night i was born, two other infants in the same #hospital were maimed 4life by botched circumcisions performed by a 2tired #doctor...protectively my mother opted to leave me whole, so for that, #thanksmom

...now to my other points, first lets stop overworking #healthcare peoples,

and...maybe stop slicing perfectly healthy flesh off helpless newborns?

...is so simple to just teach us how to clean ourselfs properly...js

@WuMargaret My mother told me long ago she loved that particular chore and folding laundry in general. "It's an act of love. I picture giving a hug to the recipient of the clean linen or clothing as I fold or put it away."

That changed how I think about it. I've shared that story with my grandkids individually and they've become more helpful at home.

Somehow, “Thanks, Mom!” doesn’t quite seem to be enough.

When I was younger I used to resent doing yard work, but ultimately I'm glad my mom made me help her because my love of plants and #gardening sprung from that over time. And now I will info-dump about trees, shrubs, perennials, etc. on anyone who will listen :joy: I think I still have some pictures of my first shrub and perennial garden tucked away somewhere, I'll have to dig them out and post a few on MetaPixel.
