Alexis Cardenas’ family seeks medical records, unedited video footage of his death inside Harris County Jail
Attorneys for Cardenas' relatives on Thursday filed a Rule 202 petition seeking to access certain evidence and medical records about the circumstances surrounding his July 8 death. The 32-year-old Cardenas had an altercation with detention officers as he was being released from the jail, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
