Not a bad view of the Teton Range from our site on Shadow Mountain, just outside Grand Teton National Park. One of the best sunrise vantage points all summer. Phenomenal views inside the park, too—especially along the Hidden Falls trail up to Inspiration Point and while canoeing on Jenny Lake.

It's not exactly #backpacking, but it's in the neighborhood. Tonight's rotating desktop picture was shot on a cloudy 2019 day in the WY #JacksonValley (aka #JacksonHole), in between two backpacking adventures in the MT #BeartoothRange and WY #TetonRange.

Tonight's rotating desktop picture comes from #Backpacking the WY #TetonRange in 2019. The visible peak at center is the Middle Teton; the Grand is obscured by clouds just left. Not exactly sure where I took this from, but guessing it was along the use trail during the early ascent onto The Wall (which is the ridge at right).
