Trata de la adolescencia real, bien lejos de hipérboles como Euphoria. Adapta un cómic estadounidense, pero no tiene un solo fotograma con efectos especiales hechos por ordenador. Y el tema principal de su banda sonora es un blues del Delta de Mississippi de 1931. Parece mentira que una película tan sencilla resulte tan revolucionaria.

Watched Ghost World last night for the first time in probably 20+ years. I'd forgotten how great that movie is and its statements on music, culture, and alienation are just as spot-on today as they were when it came out toward the end of the pre-cell phone era of 2001. If you've never seen it, watch it. And if you have teenagers, have 'em watch it with you!
