Drawing Once Upon A Time In Paris
Edward ChampionI'm reading Terry Moore's STRANGERS IN PARADISE for the first time and I really do admire the way he is completely melodramatic with his characters and dialogue, yet somehow comes across as if he's operating in good faith. Not an easy trick! This is one advantage of "heightened" genres, epitomized by horror and bizarro fiction. He has his characters do very wild and aberrant things and yet it all somehow works, possibly because it plays "real" in the realm of comics.
