I am likely a decade too late but… am I the only one watching Terrace House?
In the Sydney suburb of Paddington with Sydney Sketch Club this morning, sketching one of the many Victorian terrace houses. Traditionally a homeowner would paint their front door red on paying off their mortgage. No idea whether that's the case here.

I think Dan Rainey is right, if we are to build more (and better) #housing, then the two bed #terracehouse is an excellent model for this expansion.
These houses remain attractive to everyone as early homes, except #builders who are obsessed with building detached houses with more bedrooms.
Of course, the small/medium sized terrace was a staple of #socialhousing & so their relative decline in house building is not surprising, but the revival of this size dwelling, would be beneficial IMO.
Just came across 「チューした」 in a Japanese TV programme (OK, I admit it was Terrace House 😆). Had to look it up because it seemed a bit strange - it means "we kissed" (said by a girl/young woman, I think men would not normally use it).
The reason I found it strange is that the katakana チュー sounds like "chew", which doesn't seem very romantic 😂. But apparently it's onomatopoeic, referring to the sound of kissing, rather than chew.
