Ninths this afternoon, laddering up the tenor's range. Ab3 was troublesome, but I stuck with it, eased my way to the overtone. Altissimo can be cranky, and must be approached with open heart. The heat with low humidity out there is an interesting combination for the Fibracell reed, which I feel drying as I play.
