It’s time to share our video for the France Aikido #1month1technique challenge! 🎥🥋
April’s technique was kote gaeshi, a throw based on a wrist twist, often seen in demonstrations and on social media.
In the Iwama style, if you look closely, the ukemi are a bit different (a bit more… flat?) 🤔
But the principles remain the same — falling safely while protecting the wrist !
Many thanks once again to our instructors and sempai for taking part in this project: Benoit, Antoine, Paul, Julien Sensei, Laetitia, Magali and Bruno 👏

Not only that but I ended up having some visits from childhood, as I made this up back then lol. I've been enjoying making art and comics for them--and I have more at different stages of art production for both-- and it's been fun playing in someone else's sandbox, a little small break from my usual trio of children. They're raring to come back but for the moment, it's been this.
