Mgmt s proud of flaunt titles such as being named to lists of "Fastest Growing Private Companies" and is recipient of multiple innovation awards, and rarely touts or mentions its many labor law violations or legal troubles.

@sboots Variations on this theme unfortunately seem to exist at all levels of government - municipal, provincial, and federal.

The increase in these contracting arrangements probably correlates to the migration towards the outsourcing of government work generally. Like most temp work, these contracts also allow the government to avoid having to provide proper benefits, training, or job security to folks who otherwise should be considered their employees.
