Un omicidio efferato, probabilmente con diversi colpi di spranga alla testa. Così è stato ucciso nel pomeriggio di mercoledì 4 marzo Mario Ruoso, 87enne imprenditore noto nel nord-est per essere il patron dell’emittente televisiva locale TelePordenone.
Il corpo di Ruoso è stato rinvenuto dal nipote, pilota di moto, nel pomeriggio: si era allarmato quando Mario non gli aveva risposto alle numerose telefonate. Da qui la scelta di recarsi a casa dell’87enne e la scoperta del corpo ormai privo di vita, in una pozza di sangue accanto alla porta e con una profonda ferita alla testa.
Come riferito questa mattina all’Ansa dal Procuratore della Repubblica di Pordenone Pietro Montrone, “c’è una persona in Questura sulla quale si nutrono forti sospetti rispetto al delitto del patron di TelePordenone”. “Tecnicamente non è ancora in stato di fermo – ha precisato Montrone – stiamo completando gli accertamenti. Non abbiamo ancora elementi sul possibile movente”.,
Secondo quanto appreso dall’agenzia di stampa, il sospettato è un cittadino di italiano ultrasessantenne, che è stato individuato in un’abitazione di Azzano Decimo, alla prima periferia di Pordenone. L’uomo è stato individuato dalla polizia la scorsa notte nella sua abitazione: quando sono intervenuti gli agenti lo hanno sorpreso in compagnia di un cittadino di nazionalità straniera sul quale sono ora in corso approfondimenti. Il sospettato è stato accompagnato in Questura dove si trova al momento in attesa della formalizzazione degli atti a suo carico.
Il sindaco di Pordenone, Alessandro Basso, ha sottolineato che con la scomparsa di Ruoso “viene a mancare un imprenditore che ha contribuito in maniera significativa alla vita economia e allo sviluppo del nostro territorio”.

A heinous murder, likely with several gunshot wounds to the head. That’s how Mario Ruoso, an 87-year-old businessman known in the north-east as the patron of local television station TelePordenone, was killed in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 4th.
Ruoso’s body was found by his grandson, a motorcycle pilot, in the afternoon: he had become alarmed when Mario didn’t answer his numerous phone calls. From there, he chose to go to the 87-year-old’s home and discovered the body already lifeless, in a pool of blood next to the door and with a deep head wound.
As reported this morning to ANSA by Pordenone Public Prosecutor Pietro Montrone, “there is a person at the police headquarters on whom strong suspicions are being held regarding the murder of the TelePordenone patron.” “Technically, he is not yet in custody – Montrone clarified – we are completing the investigations. We don't yet have any elements on the possible motive.”
According to what was learned from the news agency, the suspect is an Italian citizen over sixty, who was identified in a house in Azzano Decimo, on the outskirts of Pordenone. The man was identified by the police last night in his home: when the officers intervened, they found him in company with a foreign national on whom investigations are now underway. The suspect was taken to the police headquarters where he is currently awaiting the formalization of charges against him.
The mayor of Pordenone, Alessandro Basso, emphasized that with Ruoso’s disappearance “a businessman who contributed significantly to the economic life and development of our territory is missing.”
