The first Artist of the Week from our week on Reciprocity.

Tehching Hsieh is a Taiwanese-American performance artist who used to do durational pieces lasting one full year.

In particular for the theme of reciprocity, himself and artist Linda Montano were tied to each other with a two meter long rope for one entire year - unable to touch each other.
