Na het keihard geflopte FineWoven, is Apple dit jaar in de herkansing gegaan met de nieuwe TechWoven-case voor de iPhone 17 Pro. Wij hebben deze een aantal weken getest. Houdt deze nieuwe Apple-hoes langer stand?

I finally got round to looking at the #TechWoven Case and #Crossbody Strap I bought for the #iPhone 17 Pro Max. 

The #iPhone 17 Pro Max dies fit very nicely in my custom-made holster, that has lasted me now from the i{home X onwards, so the case / lanyard were bought mostly for use on holiday when I want to take photos where there is a risk in dropping the phone (sea trips, harbours, the top of castle walls etc).

Anyway the case fits very nicely and snuggly round the phone, and looks to give a decent level of extra protection, it stops the camera lump resting on surfaces and gives a really good textured surface to grip on to, it gets rid of the aluminium slippery surface. The case colour does not photograph well, it's a very nice 'old rust' colour which suits perfectly.

Oh yes the #MagSafe charging / mounting works very well.

The cross body strap works by threading anchor loops into the 'lanyard' holes in the base of the case, and press-stud closures on the actual strap  snap into these in turn.

The whole assembly feels very rugged and secure, working nicely on a brief walk I went on this afternoon. 

So I _may_ end up getting a screen protector and trying the lanyard full tie as an alternative to my belt holster. I'll have to work out pros and cons of each, and see which I prefer.

Coffee. Olive oil. Hot sauce. Keys. Even a knife. We threw it all at Apple’s new TechWoven case to see if it survived where FineWoven failed. The results? Surprisingly strong… until the coating cracked. See the full durability test at the link below.
