Microwave manufacturers need to either make power settings easier to use or they need to give me a backspace button so I don't have to do a billion extra button pushes every time I make what should be a minor goof.

But I believe
If a computer isn't actively engaged in activities specifically desired by its human
It shouldn't be draining the battery at a speed absurd and quick
#TechGripe in the form of #ShitpostPoetry
It would really butter my biscuits if one of the billions of reboot-requiring updates Ubuntu is constantly pushing to LTS could fix the 'KDE regularly crashes, ruining my hard-built session' bug.
This is a #TechGripe . There's nothing meaningful in any log to explain why this is happening. It is functionally impossible to troubleshoot but this didn't start happening until I updated to the 2024 LTS version.
Love getting advertisements in an app I’m already paying for … for features included in my subscription … features that I have used in the past.
And don’t use now because they’re not useful to me right now.
Why don’t you compile a version of Excel, and OneDrive for Linux? That would be far more useful to me than a crappy mobile app.
⚠️ This is a tech gripe. Not a request to receive an invitation to the Holy Church of Crappy Excel Alternatives nor a request for admonitions not to pay subscription fees to Microsoft. I reserve to have fun at your expense if you Reply Guy me. ⚠️
Signal: Verify your PIN. We do this periodically so you remember your PIN.
Me: You gotta be god damn kidding me. enters PIN
Signal: We'll remind you again tomorrow.
Me: WTF
I'm in that delicate moment where I told my computer to do something and it has ignored me. If I try again, I might get two of the thing. If I do anything else, I will forget what I was doing entirely.
Whoa there!
You have exceeded a secondary rate limit.
Please wait a few minutes before you try again;
in some cases this may take up to an hour.
I have a) gone to a page and b) have attempted a single, simple search. I did both of those at normal, human speeds using normal, human methods.
What the hell, github.com.
🚧 This is a complaint about a tech company behaving badly. It is not a request for troubleshooting assistance. 🚨
The #Microsoft #Edge people really don't want you to turn off the "news" they display you when you open it or a new tab. I put up with it for a while but they put too much low-quality click bait and I had enough.
This is a #TechGripe, not a request for troubleshooting assistance. I already figured out how to turn it off on my own. The issue is the behavior of a large tech company.
No, you can't update. I just closed you yesterday to update and it was extremely annoying to deal with the consequences five minutes ago when I opened you again.
