Given that my phone contains a lot of stuff about President Trump and none of it complimentary, It is likely at this point that I would not be allowed to enter the USA or, worse, would end up being detained at the pleasure of ICE. Many people have already fallen foul of the Trump regime for simply exercising their right to free speech.

How arrogant then, and deeply hypocritical, for Mr Perma-Angry Vance and other Trump teamsters to lecture the UK government about free speech and, bizarrely, linking the successful conclusion of an asymmetric trade ‘deal’ between our two countries to the removal of laws protecting LGBQT people from harassment and worse.
