Fast, reliable delivery needs more than clean code – it needs the right socio-technical architecture. In his #SAGconf session, @crichardson shows how to start simple, evolve intentionally, and spot the signals that your structure needs to change. ✨

#AgileParty

we (@scrumschau
@nobsagile) thought today about inviting people into the fediverse to join an endless #AgileParty and first step would be to create a party ourselves so new #agile people have a chance to join us here.

i propose @matthewskelton to join too. i noticed him at first, because he liked the #RucksackVollerLego by @karen and me ;)

i like the #teamTopology work because all the material is under a creative commons free culture licence and this way we can share it and help each other using it.

who is next to #invite someone to the #AgileParty?

to the #AgileParty here on the fediverse.

After a wonderful session yesterday, we'll be back on July 16th at 16:00 UTC for an insightful session with Hibri Marzook on "Decoding Paradoxes: Why are many good ideas in Software Delivery counter-intuitive."

We'll dive into counter-intuitive ideas in software delivery by visualizing socio-technical feedback loops in our systems.

How does deploying more frequently improve quality?
How does slack time in a team improve reliability?
Why should we do it more often if it hurts?

These perplexing concepts often leave CEOs bewildered. Improving software delivery means understanding these paradoxes and balancing social and technical dynamics. How do we deepen our understanding and explain these concepts to others?

Looking forward to seeing you there! 🚀

I've got a feeling that the industry has found the next silver bullet, the successor to Spotify's squad model:

#PlatformEngineering

All this recent hype around it, how we badly need it & should do it, etc makes me quite nervous.

$$$ and nerves will be thrown at it to make it work while, I fear much like Spotify's squads, it's not supposed to in the first place!

I plan to properly rant about this later - stay tuned!

@tristanls sounds good, Tristan. Unlikely to connect soon but I hope to get back to some maps in progress around the (USA) holidays. Love meeting more of the #WardleyMap (and #TeamTopology) community so feel free to ping me here anytime.
