**3rd officially nude hiking trail in Germany opened!**
On Saturday 27th, September the “Nature Hiking Trail” was officially opened at Rätzsee in the presence of the organizers of the nudist campsite at Rätzsee, representatives of the municipality and tourism associations, and the forestry administration. https://www.GetNakedGermany.de gave a welcoming address and also hosted a welcoming address from the DFK (German Naturist Association), which was unable to attend.
The 3km circular trail is a low-threshold opportunity to try nude hiking in a particularly protected area. It is clearly marked with a small sign. We are particularly pleased that the naturist symbol was used as a sign. (At https://www.naturistenweg.de, you can find information about the two existing official nude hiking trails in Germany.)

Unfortunately, the temperature wasn’t exactly cooperating: at only 12 degrees Celsius, most people preferred to stay clothed. In addition to the local press, the German Press Agency (dpa) was also present.

A man who stumbled on a nudist area in the UK was relieved to have spotted a warning on sign on its approach, but what he discovered at the site left him surprised

A man who visited a nudist area has expressed his 'disappointment' on social media, after the bizarre experience caught him by surprise. Taking to Reddit, he shared a snap of a warning sign encountered in the vicinity, complete with legislative information.
It read: "You may enjoy encounter naturists enjoying this area naked today. Simple public nudity is not illegal in England & Wales." The sign also included links to nudist and naturist legislation, meanwhile, accessible via the scanning of QR codes. "Alas, I didn't," he quipped seemingly sad it had turned out to be quiet day in the world of public exposure.
According to the College of Policing, naturists have a right to freedom of expression which only engages criminal law if they commit sexual offences or use disorderly behaviour they intend to or are aware may be disorderly within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
It adds: "Naturism is defined by British Naturism as a 'philosophical belief in a natural, naked lifestyle wherein persons espouse nudity as part or possibly all of their lifestyle'. While many confine their activities to their own private property or in clubs, many use beaches which are known as 'naturist beaches'...

It is the last day of our holiday at the Gronenberger Mühle (https://www.gronenberger.de/en) near Scharbeutz/Schleswig-Holstein. Unfortunately, we already have to pack our bags and load the car to start our journey home tomorrow morning.
During the last few cool and rainy days, we spent a lot of time driving around and exploring the towns, beaches and sights in the area.
After packing our suitcases and loading the car, I set off eagerly for another Nordic walking session. This allowed me to make up for the lack of exercise over the last few days.
I was really lucky because I didn't meet anyone. So I took advantage of this wonderful opportunity to walk part of the route completely naked, doing ‘Nudic Walking’ instead of Nordic walking, just like I did last Sunday. It was a wonderfully liberating feeling that I can wholeheartedly recommend.
But, as last time, Komoot unfortunately had problems with orientation/reception in the forest and did not always guide me along the route I had planned. However, I decided to do an extra lap in the forest before I had to put on my clothes again to leave the forest for the remaining kilometres across fields and along smaller roads back to our accommodation.
I would really, really like to go Nudic walking much more often, but unfortunately that's not so easy in the densely populated Rhineland/Ruhr area.

A fuming motorbike rider punched a cyclist taking part in a World Naked Bike Ride, causing him to crash and breaking his e-bike, before assaulting two police officers attempting to arrest him at a pub, a court heard this week.
The incident took place on Saturday 9 August, during Colchester’s annual World Naked Bike Ride event.
Similar World Naked Bike Rides – which, as the name suggests, involve participants cycling in the nude – take place across Britain every year, as part of an international campaign protesting car culture and dependency on oil, as well as highlighting the vulnerability of riding a bicycle.
Cyclists and onlookers often report a carnival atmosphere at the events, though they do occasionally come in for criticism from some politicians, with one mayoral candidate calling for the ride to be banned on the grounds of “common decency” back in 2023.
This week, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard that this year’s Colchester edition of the World Naked Bike Ride, which was moved from its traditional July slot to August due to inclement weather, was marred by an attack on one of its participants by a passing motorcyclist, who later claimed he assumed the cyclists were “sexual predators”.
