Anti #Warhammer evening in the school #WarhammerAlliance - students get the opportunity to play #BoardGame s, #TCG s and #RPG s (or build their #Bandai stuff) every other month.

I was drafted into the Game of Life, in which capitalism was gracelessly won by the pop star with his ginormous income. With the rest being steward, teacher and vet the outcome was unsurprising 😆

#School #WarhammerAlliance and it was anti-Warhammer evening (free-for-all) so I brought a #Mordheim Arena variant for the students who have yet to know the joy of #Wargaming.

Of course, it being Mordheim, I had to explain every dice roll because there are so many, but I had them go at each other one on one and they had fun!

The school's Warhammer Alliance club finally had its first lesson in how to play Warhammer 40k yesterday. We had 10 students playing and 2 observing. Each student played a single model—either an Assault Intercessor or a Necron Warrior. I only taught the basic rules for moving and attacking because the sessions are only 30 minutes long. Most students picked it up quickly and are eager to have another go.

Also faffed with the 3D printers at school for a bit and printed this scenery *stuff* straight out of thingiverse.

Not all #28mm scales are 28mm.

Stuff keeps warping so I turned the build plate temp 5° down for the next run.

Yesterday: School #WarhammerAlliance, showed a student how to paint glow with shit brushes; received a massive pile of models and books from the incredibly generous @threkk which the students were too keen to start with (first finish #WIP, kids).

Was very busy in the school #WarhammerAlliance . Told one of the students how to paint the smoke behind rockets and they went and did a great job; walked around helping people out, and eventually painted these markers with shit brushes (citadel starter being the main one).

Worked on my #Fedipaint entry yesterday, and did a bit of scenery work and getting a genestealer cults rock grinder ready to build for #orktober.

Today we had a stand with the #WarhammerAlliance. Was good but I dropped the necro/undead team I'd paint the fedipaint models for, on the parking lot paving. chipped AF. They were due repainting from chipping, so now I've stripped them.

At school #WarhammerAlliance, I challenged one student to design a mission with multiple scenarios for #RangersOfShadowdeep. Focused on storytelling around his ideas first, then on flashing it out gameplay wise.

He enjoyed tf out of it and if he completes this, it'll be one hell of an exciting fun play!
