Here's another example of the lack of digital sovereignty in our public health system. A survey about a recent experience at the local hospital's A+E department.
Not only is this survey system clearly not being run by the boffins at Te Whatu Ora, it's not even being served from a subdomain of tewhatuora.govt.nz. But from forms.office.com, a domain controlled by the original US technofeudalists, BorgSoft.

Word order is everything in English and careful punctuation helps a lot.

Over the last 6 weeks, I have had a number of appointments and interactions with folk working in healthcare. From my GP trying to maximise the mandated 15-minute appointment to best effect, the nurse doing my 'flu jab on the spot, the admin folks sending me letters and, today, cheerful radiographers despite a working weekend ahead. As a son & dad of nurses, who has seen the NHS defunded and sold off and is now watched the same happening here, I salute all those who care for others.
"The country's ambulance service is funded by Te Whatu Ora - Heath New Zealand and ACC, which fund about 82 percent of the service, at a cost of about $380 million a year.
The rest is made up through donations, and a part charge of $98 for patients transported by ambulance."

This is ludicrous. We don't end up with a bill when we call firefighters to a fire. Why aren't ambulance services full funded?
