I was on YouTube for some random reason today and this video was up front. I don't know anything about these guys, but this video of of abusing and finally cutting open a midrange Martin was enjoyable and felt slightly deviant to watch. I guess I've never really done a deep dive into guitar construction, but because I'm headed toward making a decent (I hope) cigar box guitar I'm more interested than previously. I learned some cool things about guitar construction, as well as some corners manufacturers might cut (and that maybe some of them don't matter). If you like Things Cut In Half Porn, then the latter part of this video might be satisfying.

Again: No idea who these people are, and it's likely I won't watch more videos from them (my YouTube account is filled with subscriptions to channels I literally never watch because I just don't use YouTube much).

(It was fun to see 5-second nod to #TaylorGuitars because I own a couple; I am not an evangelist for them, but I have had a lot of fun with mine).

Another clip from an old song from 2001 called 'Ex-encounter'. It's about those moments when fear and loneliness can drive us back to situations and people that are definitely not good for us. It was only a moment and I didn't follow the urge, but the power of it made me realise how easy it is to get stuck in relationships that are not good for us.
