If our government no longer works on behalf of the people, then why do the people work to sustain the government?

Billions of dollars, so many innocent lives lost in this #IllegalWar, and no plan whatsoever.

If you follow me, you're probably tired of hearing me harp on this, but our founding fathers dumped British tea in the harbor for less! We, the American people and taxpayers, must stop funding this government, whose every action is only in service of Trump.

Not filing is one way to do a tax strike, but not the only way, and each way has its own advantages and disadvantages. @danwentzel I get a lot of (mostly polite because its Mastodon) flack every time I bringup a #TaxStrike, but I'm not okay funding a government being weaponized against its own people and committing war crimes around the world.

Meanwhile the #billionaire donor-class uses every loophole to get out of paying their fair share, and instead funds propaganda designed to erode public trust and obliterate the social safety net.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but f*ck the consequences: I won't file this year.

Good to see The Center for Taxpayer Rights leading the charge on this, as the #IRS is violating its own policies in service of the #TrumpRegime.

Drawing on multiple data sources which were once (for good reason) kept separate seems to be a key approach to weaponizing the government against the people.

I maintain that filing a federal #tax return this year aids the #TrumpAdministration in countless ways, and that a #TaxStrike is the collective action that the moment calls for.
