#TattooTour update! We recently added a bit to the inner upper arm. Now the toad has a lil friend. The snake is modeled after a rainbow boa (and will be colored as such later) and the face is modeled after a python, because they are cute and derpy.

Obviously, it's not finished yet, but y'all get some of the work-in-progress anyway. The bubbles by the ditch are spicy bubbles. Spicier than the actual elbow ditch in my opinion (not including the shading part)

Regarding the potion bottle that looks like it has a blank label (or empty bubble). If you have any thoughts on what sort of symbol or item might fit nicely there, drop it in the comments! My only thing is no text.

A couple of things that have been mentioned are a mermaid tail, a pretty nightshade plant, and one entry for "Drink me!" because they couldn't resist. Not only would that violate my 'no text' thing but then I'd need to brainstorm where to put the complementary "Eat me!" and that quickly becomes a different challenge altogether.

I may not be able to lay eggs from my own body, but my #eldritch friends like to make sure I'm happy.

We also shaded the leaves of the vine on my back and in my opinion it gives it texture and depth. I'm a fan of the treble clef snuck in there as well as just how the vine happens to align with the tentacle holding the egg.

The #AltText has details in case it's difficult to parse the image.   

By the way, it is so hard to capture the full piece from a proper angle without overinflating my shoulder span

I doubt this will come as a surprise, but just in case, y'all should know that I have at least a couple of tattoos.   

During my most recent session, we shaded the leaves on the back piece featured in my previous post (linked below). And we did some work on my ongoing sleeve.

Those of you that were chatting with me on Signal or discord at the time will have already seen this and potentially more depending on the timing. Don't worry, I'll get you fresh updates when I can.

Sometime recently, this little work in progress took off. I'd tell you how long, but I don't even know how time works right now. It's been quite a week.

#CW for bare back and ink (no nudity) and I suppose jellyfish

This originally started as a smaller piece at the shoulder. Then we magnified it just to see how it would flow, and it flowed right into my skin. The coloration on the "head" (my artist used this term specifically 🤭) of the jellyfish is going to emulate the Beroe to give it a bit of a space-like vibe. For those unfamiliar, the Beroe jellyfish is the deep see one that looks like a rave cucumber balloon thing.

For those of you unfamiliar with tattoos, this is just the outline. For larger pieces, it typically takes a few sessions to get through the whole thing. The typical order is: outline, details, shading, and the optional coloring.

#Bumblebee

After some deliberation and review, I've decided to post some and eventually most pieces of my arm #Tattoo after all. And if anyone does recognize me in the wild, you should say hi so I know how many people in my vicinity have seen me almost naked already.

It's still a work in progress, and will likely take a few more sessions with what we have planned. The last session this cutie got added. Look at the acutely mysterious #toad atop the second jellyshroom! The fact that it resembles a toadstool is no coincidence.

Exhibit #Knee on the #TattooTour is my piece of a set known as the bee's knees. A nesting partner has a similar tattoo but with a darker blue (bi colors) and slightly different design. [Previous Exhibit](https://lgbtqia.space/@h3mmy/114270861378131324)

Several people in my life have wanted matching tattoos, and this is often a difficult situation. I know how relationships can ebb and flow over the years, but I am also #poly (relationship anarchy). After some discussion, we decided on bumblebees as it parallels poly social constructs in fun ways.

Also, bumblebees will sometimes get 'drunk' on nectar and fall asleep in some flowers. They also like to just nap in flowers. Occasionally, they may fall out while napping. Moonflowers have psychoactive compounds like scopolamine (anticholinergic), and morning glories can have lysergic acid (LSA). Both those compounds are sleepy making.

So #bumblebees fit the need. It makes it easy to include more people into the tattoo theme as desired, and importantly isn't strictly bound to the set either.

This was also the fastest #Tattoo I've gotten because it is also the smallest.
