Whisper sounds nearly exactly as I expected/hoped for, Tangle's voice is, mhh, hard to say, different than I expected, but both of them are fitting and did a great job!
If you just want to listen to them, a fitting scene with both speaking is just before 11 minutes of the new podcast.

The Whisper and Tangle event will be running in Sonic Racing Crossworlds from 2026-02-25 to 2026-03-01.
On one hand that's good because it won't clash with my Furry convention visits. On the other hand, AiAi Event will be on Valentine's Day, and I was among the people who really hoped Whisper and Tangle would get the Valentine's treatment. 😅😭

I haven't listened to the "Sonic the Hedgehog Presents: The Chaotix Casefiles" podcast so far, I didn't even know of its existence as it's a bit hard for me to stay up-to-date with Sonic stuff without using Twitter, but well.
ANYWAY, it seems that Whisper and Tangle will be featured in the next episode (2025-02-10) which means they'll have official voice actors! ❤️
Let's hope that's true!
