Featuring eight mixed martial arts matches, two Muay Thai bouts and two kickboxing contests, “ONE: Conquest of Champions” took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was the fourth and last ONE Championship event to be held in the country in 2018.
Setting the tone for an action-packed evening was a three-round flyweight encounter between Agustian and Asraful “Warrior” Islam, 22, of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Indonesian contender turned in a dominant performance, outclassing his Bangladeshi opponent over the course of three rounds.
Agustian banked on his superior striking and smoothly executed takedowns. He walked away with the clear-cut unanimous decision victory.
Winning at “ONE: Conquest of Champions” improved Agustian’s professional MMA record to 2 wins and 0 loss. When he made his ONE Championship debut “ONE: Pursuit of Greatness” at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on October 26, 2018, he submitted Kaji “Alpha” Ebin, 26, of the Philippines via keylock.
