I don't like just shitting on companies based on my poor experience.

But...

Tandem Diabetes Care is failing all of their users of their Mobi insulin pump.

I know one person on their second replacement. I know one person that, after 2 replacements, switched systems. I know of one person who complained about issues known to plague this system, who I encouraged to contact Tandem, and got a replacement as a result.

I might be facing my second replacement soon.

Their Mobi insulin pump is garbage.

I know people who swear by the T:Slim X2. It seems like a robust insulin pump. Some have described it as a tank.

The Mobi? Seems like it's designed like a toy: It's designed to fail.

For a life sustaining device, this seems like a grotesque failure.

So… #Sugarmate just stopped working a couple days ago - logged me out and I can’t log in on the app or the website. I checked the App Store and it’s not listed anymore… WTF 🤔

I prefer(red) that app because it is (was?) the only one of the 3 I use(d) (Dexcom, t:connect) that actually shows a +/- rate, which SHOULD be standard.

When *the fuck* is #TandemDiabetes going to finally implement the #Dexcom #G7 #CGM into their #insulinpump software? The G7 was released in *February* and Tandem was targeting 6 months, i.e. August. Last I saw they are targeting Fall 2023 which, I don’t know if you know this, ends in 48 days.

I suspect the answer will be “red tape”, but get the lead out, Tandem.
