City #commute via #trains are a vibe! Using both #ChennaiSuburban electric trains and #ChennaiMetro for my commutes with #biketaxis for the last mile. Traffic? What Traffic? The views are nice and it's dirt cheap! More lines please, Especially for the suburban! I know metros are more sexy but nothing beats the suburban EMUs.

#TamilNadu Legislative Assembly #Elections has concluded & there's talk on the massive #voterturnout increase from 73.63% in 2021 to 84.69% in 2026.

What many miss out is that the Special Intensive Revision (#SIR2026) of electoral rolls removed absent/shifted/dead electors & reduced voter base to 5,67,07,380.

In raw numbers, that means 4,32,34,665 voted in 2016, 4,63,44,590 in 2021 & 4,80,25,480 (estimated) in 2026.

So people who've been voting, have always been voting.
