Paul Wermer, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0What I don't hear from the #establishment #Democrats is any discussion about how to actually reach out and #TalkWithVoters (They talk TO voters, but it's not a dialogue (they talk AT voters?); they do not listen or explore ideas & concerns). Isn't talking with the voters what #AOC did in her campaign? Isn't that what #ZoranMamdani did in his campaign? Or what #SenatorChrisMurphy does on his long Connecticut walks?
The important thing about actual dialogue is that it lets you break through the #SoundBiteMessaging that makes consultants money, without developing mutual understandings and trust. (And don't confuse a focus group for talking with)
