#Takotsubo syndrome is a dangerous stress-related #heart disease. Since #T3 upregulates β-receptors, we assumed a link to #thyroid homeostasis. With machine learning, we identified interesting allostatic patterns.

Broken Heart Syndrome Proves Deadlier Than Expected | Geekoo

A new five-year study reveals that “broken heart syndrome” poses a much higher risk of death and complications than previously thought—especially among men.
