Proper ref for my #MyGymPartnersaMonkey OC/self-insert, Xander Sloth!

That backstory is probably a bit much for the show, but I wanted to do something that felt a little "unique" for it that tied into the whole theme of animals existing alongside humans with human sentience, but still being exploited. (it's also somewhat *vaguely* inspired by my own irl experiences of being moved around and always at other people's mercy...)

Xander's experiences have left them feeling alienated from both the human and animal worlds, though they are slightly more acclimated to the former.

I'm in the process of writing a fic for them and Maurice because I love their dynamic a lot, and infodumping about it here doesn't do it justice... plus I want Maurice to have a partner that he can also call his best friend lol.
