Takeo Moriyama - Live at Lovely

BBE's J-Jazz series has an awful lot of good releases.

Jazz Inn Lovely ( http://jazzinnlovely.com ), in Nagoya, has been there for some time, and this 1990 LP was recorded there with Moriyama (drums), Fumio Itabashi (piano), Toshihiko Inoue (tenor), and Hideaki Mochizuki (bass).

Starts off at *breakneck* speed and settles in for a nice hard bop/free session. (Moriyama is also on Live at Café OTO, which I forgot to post.)

Trio composé de #AkiraSakata, un saxophoniste inconnu de mes oreilles, #JohanBerthling, bassiste qui officie au sein de #Fire et #FireOrchestra, et du batteur #PaalNilssenLove, qu'on retrouve chez #TheThing ou #TerritoryBand, rejoints par un second batteur, #TakeoMoriyama, inconnu de mes oreilles lui aussi. Et clairement, on a du bon, du très bon #FreeJazz. Bref, jeter une oreille sur cette excellentissime album.
