#AlexHonnold is the only person known to have climbed the 3000 ft face of #ElCapitan in #Yosemite #FreeSolo (without ropes &/or safety gear).

This climb was recorded in the documentary Free Solo (2018). I have a copy of it on DVD. It can be viewed for free on a least one #AltStreaming channel & for a fee on PPV/subscription channels.

I watched Alex Honnold free solo the Taipei skyscraper, but only after I knew he'd completed it. I don't know why Netflix thought this needed to be a livestream.

It's also so wild to me that spectators were allowed to watch him from inside the building.
