Has been a while since I painted miniatures.
It always takes more time than expected, but once started it's just fun.
These three lovelies are enemies for our Tainted Grail boardgame campaign:
The Fore-Dweller, an nonhuman knight constantly on our trail.
The Underbrush Wyrm, which we encountered several times.
And the Kelpie, with a tongue resembling a woman, to lure unsuspecting travellers to the water, which we have not met yet.

"What’s just as frustrating is the laissez-faire approach to anglicizing certain names. While some characters keep their traditional spelling, others have been simplified for a non-Irish speaking audience. This issue is most acute with the character of Tyge. Tadgh is an Irish name pronounced like “Tie-agh” and has been anglicized here to Tyge, however, all the voice actors clearly didn’t get the memo, as while some pronounce it correctly, his own in-game wife calls him “Tee-gee”. Equally frustrating is that there are several Celtic voices in the form of characters with Scottish accents but it speaks to a general lack of care or awareness to not seek out Irish actors for any of these roles."

I’m so glad I stuck with Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon after getting a bit frustrated with in Act 2. I started out as a mage and Act 1 was manageable as f a bit tedious at times because of low damage sometimes. But Act 2 just made the problem worse. I felt so weak. So I got some tips from the internet and figured out that I apparently missed one of the most powerful spells for my level: Scorching Blaze.
Now the game is fun again because enemies don’t take ages to kill. But I would say that is definitely a problem with this game if you want to play a mage you are very dependant on specific items you have to find and if you miss them you will feel underpowered.
Let’s see if I miss any more things continuing the game.

I played Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon the whole evening after watching the Secrets of Strixhaven debut. And I haven’t had that much fun with a game in a long time, it gives me that old school Elder Scrolls feeling and the new Magic: The Gathering set looks great so far and I’m excited for it! Mystical Archive cards in every Play Booster is amazing! So glad I preordered a box of them.
