Seit Jahrzehnten färben EM-Labore ihre Präparate mit hochgiftigem, radioaktivem Uranylacetat. Ein Team vom vom Zentrum für Elektronenmikroskopie der #tugraz hat nun gezeigt: Kaffee-Extrakt bzw. Chlorogensäure können den Kontrast genauso gut steigern – und das „grün“, billig und reproduzierbar.
