Visto #TronAres.
Visivamente è molto bello (anche perché se giri di notte con le luci e lo schema colori di Tron ti piace vincere facile eh), belle le musiche dei Nine Inch Nails (a volte persino oltre alla scena a cui si sovrappongono) però alla fine esci con la domanda: e quindi?
Cioè i messaggi che manda sono chiari, ma lo svolgimento del tema meno.

Fridge thought: why did Ares look like Jesus? Shouldn't he have looked like Evan Peters since his character wrote him?

And if he didn't, where's the real-life Leto-looking guy that wrote Ares?

Or did we just up and forget that part of the lore and being a Producer on the film overrode it?

Giving the soundtrack a go. I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet, not sure if I will. The trailers have left me on the fence with the story.

But I am a fan of #NIN and I've enjoyed the previous movie's soundtracks.

Just watched #tron3. It was amazing visually as you would expect. Story is a little convoluted and contrived, but it had great action, a great score (although ffs guys you don't need to play Trent Reznor that loud over scenes), and the aforementioned incredible digital worlds are stunning. Seeing it at a theater was nice. Hope it does well in theaters so we get a fourth (stay for an interesting extra scene)

Greta Lee is wasted in an almost thankless role, but at least she's getting some Disney money until Past Lives 2: 2 Lives 2 Live comes out.

A movie you see even though you forgot all about Tron Legacy.

Visually engaging if you like strobe lights. A hollow story with a plodding first act that's mostly blocks of painfully rendered exposition (Evan Peters and Greta Lee doing all of the heavy lifting) and characters explaining the plot to each other before, during, and after anything of import happens.
