@[email protected] @[email protected] Unfortunately, one "side" is protected in steel cages and has fatally dangerous weapons (which they will use), and the other "side" is unprotected, so it's not really even. Mass car culture is dependent on cars being dangerous, so there is no impetus at all in making roads safer from a car perspective. Mass car culture does not want safer roads. Dedicated cycling routes are necessary, but only because of this.
