Back in 1999, Karl Pruner was interviewed by Thomasina Gibson about his role as Ian Farve for the science fiction/genre magazine Xposé. Unfortunately for her, he's talked about as An Favre throughout it, but otherwise, if you're curious about an actor's approach at playing an android, it's interesting.
Pruner has since worked for the Canadian union ACTRA & has e.g. a 2009 Colombian human rights interview on YouTube.

Total Recall 2070 came up & I got prompted to check out some of part 1 of 'Machine Dreams' first off, now ending up watching all of the following episode, Self Inflicted. And I'm so in love with that series/Farve all over again. 💙
Not necessarily bc it's superb as such, and I can't expand on some sides in case someone else watches more b4 I go into some regions of it, but I always end up having such philosophical/ethical 'discussions' in relation to it, too. In my mind, but still.

Ian Farve is so dorky first off, and I love him to no end any time I'm reminded of him. The actor Karl Pruner was in charge of ACTRA union stuff as well, so always seemed a good sort as well.
