This morning, I clumsily dropped an opened cup of ice in front of the coffee machine at Family Mart. When I told the staff "すみません、カップを落としちゃった", they gave me a new cup for free! 😲

Had the same thing happened in Germany, staff would have scolded me, then smirkingly told me to buy a new one.
