One lesson I'm taking from the #TN7 special election this week, that I'm not seeing others point out, is how much effort Republicans put in to keep the win. They won't be able to rally that many big names for every Republican seat in Congress, which is all the more reason for Democrats to challenge every seat, even "safe Republican" seats that they can't win. Make them sweat and spread the resources thin. There's no way my deep-red district will vote D, but it can cost the national party.
