#TheNewsroom ist erschreckend hellsichtig. Offensichtlich waren die Polarisierung der US-Gesellschaft, die Übernahme der Republikaner durch Rechtsextreme, die Rolle, die die Medien dabei spielen, und die Gefahr für die Demokratie bereits 2012 deutlich sichtbar.

Ich schaue mir noch mal #TheNewsroom an.

Die Serie ist schon 13 Jahre alt, aber sie hat nichts von ihrer Wirkung verloren und ich würde sagen sie ist aktueller denn je. Allein der Einstieg ist grandios und es wird ja nur besser.

If you have, it's maybe worth a rewatch.
Some aspects seem quite prescient.
Others are just a nice story about "old media" that wants to inform the people, not misinform, lie or gaslight them at the dictates of am oligarch
