There were some interesting choices for the letter X, but as soon as I read "fire-breathing carnivorous horse", I was sold.
Technically, Xanthus is the name of just one of three human-eating mares of Greek myth, but Echidna was a proper name too. Artistic liberties are fun that way.

I did the extra limbs a little different this time around... usually I let folks grow new ones, but this spood has to go through a somewhat different process.
It appears it might've been voluntary, though. And while it's not so easy to tell a spider's expression, I think she might be pleased with the final result.
