Now and then I search the internet for hemp, nettle or other plant-based, eco-textiles and I always encounter the same challenges. I cannot find 100% European products. There is nettle textile. You’d think, here’ s a ubiquitous “weed” that's fast growing, requires no care, and an excellent rawmaterial for durable textile.
Then almost all I can find, talks about Himalayan nettle. No thanks. Why is it so hard to produce anything entirely in Europe? And don’t say labor costs.
