I so damn love #Roland devices because they work with AA, 9V and other rechargable battery types where ever it's technically possible. I mean there are and were other gear brands doing the same but Roland were early, the #TB303 came out in 1982 and worked with 4AA. It's better for mom nature (setting that you're using rechargables) and also nice for grid indipendent music making.
